Cambridge Science Centre shows 7th Mar 2022 - 11 images

We had a visit from the Cambridge Science Centre! They performed two workshops. One was about materials which was called 'Stronger by Design' and the other entitled 'Destination Space!' It was great fun. We learnt so much and had an amazing time.

World Book Day 2022 3rd Mar 2022 - 18 images

We loved World Book Day! We enjoyed lots of different activities across the school including sharing stories, making posters, poetry readings, storytelling and live streaming from authors Michael Rosen and Catherine Rayner.

Children's Mental Health Week 2022 16th Feb 2022 - 13 images

Children's Mental Health Week took place between 7th and 13th February. The theme was 'Growing Together.' We learnt how we can help each other grow emotionally and physically.

Curling experience 21st Jan 2022 - 7 images

Year 1 to 6 took part in a Curling session! It was great fun and got us excited for the Winter Olympics which begins on Friday 4th February.

Christmas Wreaths 6th Dec 2021 - 11 images

KS2 walked down to St Mary's Church to look at the fabulous display of wreaths created by people from the Grundisburgh community, including one from each class from school. There were so many fabulous wreaths on display and they were a joy to see.

BMX Day - Year 5 and 6 2nd Dec 2021 - 14 images

As a result of our winning entry to the ‘Women’s Tour Schools Challenge’ event, our Year 5 and 6 classes took part in a cycling activity day, led by former National BMX Champion and British Cycling Coach, John Stockwell.

Tree planting 29th Nov 2021 - 6 images

Emma Dixon, Chair of FOGS, was awarded over 300 saplings from the Woodland Trust. These have been planted along the fence to our Outdoor Learning area by the children.

Our Themed Autumn Day 2nd Nov 2021 - 22 images

We held an Autumn Themed day. The children came to school dressed in Autumnal colours and looked fantastic. All of the learning was based around the theme of Autumn. A great day was had by all.

Easton Farm Park Trip 15th Jul 2021 - 11 images

Year 1 and 2 went to Easton Farm Park. They had an amazing day meeting the animals, going on a tractor and trailer ride and pond dipping. What fun they had!

We have had a fantastic Art Week. There has been such wonderful learning throughout the school and a real excitement. The children participated in a variety of activities from printing in the style of Andy Warhol to chalk art on the playground.

Christmas Decoration Week 1st Dec 2020 - 7 images

We held a Christmas Decoration week and made decorations across the school. We displayed them on Christmas Trees, lighting up the playground for all to see and enjoy.

Wellbeing Week 2nd Nov 2020 - 8 images

Our Wellbeing Week has seen our children taking lots of their learning outside and included a Zoom Yoga session. The week was thoroughly enjoyed by all and a reminder to be kind to others but be kind to ourselves too.

Autumn Showcase 24th Oct 2019 - 10 images

Our annual Autumn Showcase. Year 6 performed a dance based on the story 'The Tin Forest.' Parents and children then explored the exhibition of the whole school's work based around the theme of the Environment. Thank you to our visiting artist Mrs Pynn.

We held a fantastic Autumn Fair. The children designed stalls with Autumnal themes. There was face painting, apple bobbing and of course, the pumpkin competition.

Year 4 Minsmere Trip 16th Oct 2019 - 2 images

Year 4 went on a wonderful trip to Minsmere and enjoyed learning about animals in their natural habitats. They were blessed with good weather and had a fabulous day.

Badminton Festival 15th Oct 2019 - 7 images

Some of our Year 4 children attended a Badminton festival to support the use of the 'Racket Pack.' They enjoyed all of the events and loved receiving a free t-shirt and water bottle too.

Ipswich Museum Trip - Year 3 8th Oct 2019 - 5 images

Year 3 spent the day at Ipswich Museum to further their learning about Ancient Egyptians. They had a great day out.

RHS Cross Country 30th Mar 2022 - 8 images

We took 20 children to a cross country running event at RHS. The children all represented our school with exceptional behaviour, determination and achievement. Between them they had many successes, personal bests and earned three medals.
