March 2023
A very successful FOGs quiz was held on Friday 3rd March. It was fantastic to welcome members of the community into our school. It is hoped that the event will have raised in the region of £500 which will be used to further support our school. A huge thanks to all at FOGs for their continued support of our school.

April 2021
FOGS officially 'launched' their virtual balloon race campaign! FOGS signed up for an online balloon race in order to raise the funds for an outdoor eating area as part of their Creating Safe Spaces campaign, with all funds going towards purchasing the school some fabulous recycled plastic picnic benches.
The virtual balloon race system offered a 100% eco-friendly way to raise money, using a seven-day computer simulation race where everything was real except the balloon. The software used current live weather data to determine the progress of each balloon and each entry was tracked on Google Maps and Satellites once launched. It had no negative environmental impact on all wildlife, climate change, plastic waste or litter.”
This was a fun way to raise funds for our school. The children and adults entering could give their balloon a name, colour, shape and pattern.
The race, titled Coronation Race, ‘set off’ from Westminster Abbey on 2nd June. First prize, for the balloon that traveled the farthest, was £500 cash, second prize was an Apple iPad and there were also 10 lucky winners of £10 book tokens. FOGS also provided prizes for the farthest and shortest flying balloons!
January 2021
FOGs are excited to announce that we have been awarded a grant of £1500 from the Kesgrave, Rushmere, St Andrew, Martlesham Carlford & Fynn Valley Community Partnership Environmental Grant Scheme which is aimed at enabling environmental care within the local community. An application was made in December 2020 for outdoor learning equipment to support our Creating Safe Spaces Campaign which is raising money to create, expand and enhance the outdoor learning potential of the school grounds of our school. The benefits of being outdoors in green space are scientifically proven to improve mental and physical wellbeing so we are thrilled that we have been awarded the maximum amount.
